Atlus has confirmed that it is removing one of Persona 4 Golden’s more difficult trophies from Persona 4 Revival, Hardcore Risette Fan, which required players to hear 250 different navigation lines from Rise Kujikawa.
The change came up during a September 20 joint interview with Chinese outlets, including A9VG, featuring Persona 4 Revival general producer Kazuhisa Wada and director Daisuke Yajima. Yajima explained that the team reconsidered the game’s overall trophy design, removed some requirements considered too difficult, and added trophies tied to new content.
Hardcore Risette Fan became particularly notorious among players pursuing every achievement in Persona 4 Golden. It’s actually the only trophy I failed to obtain from the original Vita release, so I’m glad it’s not coming back, since it was needlessly tedious.
The change does not reduce Rise’s navigation dialogue. Her navigation voice work has been completely rerecorded for Persona 4 Revival, with additional lines and navigation situations increasing the overall variety.
It was also discussed that nighttime activities are being expanded compared to Persona 4 Golden. More party members and Social Link characters can appear at night. Requirements governing Social Link progression have also been revised.

Persona 4 Revival will be released for Switch 2 on May 20, 2027. Meanwhile, it will arrive on Xbox Series X|S, the Microsoft Store, PlayStation 5, and Steam on February 18, 2027.
